A problem shared
Summary: After finding out Kadaj has left, Loz goes to break the news to his brother. (To be rp'd through a thread, open to Yazoo only)

Loz had decided against leaving a message on Kadaj's phone until he'd calmed down a little. He knew that otherwise he'd just rant and growl and call him a brat and threaten to sit on him if he didn't come back and it was better to be calm and collected and not leave Yazoo sleeping any longer.

Leaving Ula where she was, he headed back to where the other lay sleeping and quietly sat down besides him. Trying to think of a way to wake him up other than to shove him and yell, Loz picked up one of the feather's that had dropped from Ula previously and lightly slid it back and forth across his nose.

"Yazoooooooo..." He called softly, repeating the motion.

There were many ways Yazoo would like to be waken up...Actually the only one to come to mind would be a nice kiss from his lover but there were many ways to do that.

All of them better than having something tickling his nose. The first thing he did to combat the irritant was to bat it away and side further into the sleeping bag, where it was nice, warm and non-tickling.

When he wanted to sleep, he slept. And there was nothing that was going to stop him.

"Yazooooooooo..." Prodding gently, he tried tickling with the feather once more before he scowled a little and dropped the feather. "Hmph."

Deciding against it, he leant down and licked across the other's ear and pulled back to wait for a reaction. "Come on, wake up, we need to get after him," he murmured softly before leaning down and giving the other a big sloppy kiss.

He would not give in to the feather's demands, no matter how ticklish it was and he tried to bat it away again.

The licking however...That got his eyes WIDE open. Obviously Loz meant business. The sloop kiss only confirmed it and he finally sat up, grumbling something about only needing twenty more minutes if the world would just let him sleep already.

Yawning a bit, he turned to Loz and tilted his head. "What?" Words were not a morning thing oh no.

"Kadaj has gone." He watched Yazoo yawn before he snuggled close, needing the comfort as he sunk into the sand.

"His bike has gone, he left a message on my phone. Said we'd not done anything wrong but that he needed a bit of alone time, needed time to think."

He bit his lip and gave a slight sniff. "There's tracks in the sand heading North."

Yazoo froze. "Gone?" Wrapping an arm around Loz, he pulled him close, letting his brother snuggle as much as he needed. He softly placed a kiss on Loz's forehead to try to comfort him.

"But is he alright?" Kadaj had a tendency to just wander off on his own. Although Yazoo usually at least tried not to care what his younger brother did, he found Kadaj's sudden departure during a family outing to be...worrisome.

"Gone... zoom, off... gone." He snuggled closer as Yazoo allowed him to and wrapped an arm around him.

"He said he was okay but he needed time alone, with his thoughts... Probably knew we'd try and stop him if he told us." Loz bit his lip a little and tried not to worry, he knew Kadaj wanted alone time, that he didn't mean anything mean by it but still...

"Should we try and follow the tracks or wait for him to call? I wanted to wait until I told you before calling him." He knew he'd just get voice mail anyway.

Hugging his brother, he lowered his head to nuzzle him, making soft soothing noises to try and calm him.

Nodding, he listened and continued to hold him close. When Loz finished, he bit his lip slightly and thought. If Kadaj wanted to be alone it was best to respect his wishes but...He left so suddenly...

"We should wait a while. And call him first." If Kadaj was still away, then they'd follow him.

"Alright then." He didn't really like the thought of just leaving Kadaj but following blindy after him wouldn't get them anywhere but lost.

"We'll give him a few days and then call him?" The soothing sounds were doing the trick and Loz clung slightly less tightly.

Soothing sounds seemed to work well so Yazoo made sure to have his voice match it. "We'll give him four days. Then we can call."

Now that Loz seemed more-or-less calm again, he smiled. "We can still continue our vacation in case he decides to return again."

"Four?" Loz thought that was a little long but Yazoo knew best and he nodded a little, still clinging without any intention of moving.

"Okay," he murmured softly and forced himself to sit up a little. Loz wasn't sure how much fun he could have with one of his brother's missing but he hugged Yazoo tightly.

"Three if you think that's too long." Yazoo let Loz continue to cling, not wanting to let go of him just yet.

The 'Okay' didn't sound...okay. So Yazoo gave him a light kiss on the lips before he bowed his head and started to nuzzle under his chin. "He'll be alright. Kadaj knows what he's doing." Or at least he hoped Kadaj knew what he was doing.
Lozforlorn_piety on May 8th, 2006 10:00 pm (UTC)
"Three is better." It was a nice medium between two and four and he nuzzled the other's shoulder, fingers lightly smoothing along the other's hand as if to calm himself.

"I know, Kadaj is strong and brave." But it didn't mean he couldn't worry and his head tipped a little as Yazoo nuzzled under his chin. "We can do vacation stuff and Kadaj can... find himself." It was something he'd heard about on tv.
Yazoo: crashing downspazoo on May 8th, 2006 10:13 pm (UTC)
"Three it is then." He said with a grin, still nuzzling. Three days sounded like enough for whatever Kadaj wanted to do and not have them worried for too long.

"He's our leader after all." Kadaj had to be strong and brave to fulfill that role. But Loz still seemed worried so it was probably time to try and distract him. He started to lay light kisses on Loz's neck and purred, "We could-" He moved his head up to whisper in his ear. "Lover things." Hopefully that would be distraction enough.

Three, three was a good number, not to big, not to small and he smiled a little, calming slightly. "Three days is okay." He was calm, collected, he could deal with this and he knew he was worrying over nothing.

"He is, it'll be okay." He was trying to persuade himself and part of him knew it was true, even though he couldn't help but worry. The worry started to lessen though as Yazoo began to lightly kiss his throat and he looked up slightly, shivering at the purr. "Lover things?" Lover things were good and there wasn't anyone around.
Yazoo: crashing downspazoo on May 8th, 2006 11:06 pm (UTC)
The distraction seemed to be working, much to Yazoo's delight. "Mhmm...Lover things." Lowering his head again, he started to nibble down his lover's neck, growling softly. Stopping, he pressed a hand on Loz's chest and start to guide him down to lay on top of the sleeping bags.

"The entire place is ours now." He grinned and moved to bite his neck. "Rawr."

"Lover things..." Lover things were a good distraction and Loz purred, tilting his head to the side when the other started to nibble along his throat. As Yazoo pushed, he let himself be guidfed down to lay on top of the sleeping bags and stretched out.

"It is, ours." He smiled before laughing softly at the bite and gave a little "Rawr" on his own.

"Rawr," indeed. Grin widening, he bit him again before getting to work on the removal of clothing.

The rest of the day belonged to them.
